  • From CIBC clients, which may be users’ employers

  • In connection with the Application, CIBC may use this information in the following ways. To fulfill the reason the user provided the information, such as to provide access to the Application, facilitate mobile check deposits and other transactions, and provide user support
  • To process user requests, purchases, transactions and payments 
  • To create, maintain, customize and secure the accounts users interact with
  • To provide, maintain, support, personalize, and develop the Application and CIBC’s website, products, and services
  • To confirm the authority of users to access the Application and any account accessed by the Application
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, unauthorized transactions or access, and other risks
  • To comply with legal and/or regulatory requirements and risk management expectations
  • To respond to legal and/or regulatory requests or orders, such as from law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other authorities
