Transcript: How to hide accounts
Welcome to CIBC's quick guide on How to Hide Accounts.
Hidden accounts won't be seen in your account summary list of accounts on your homepage and are not visible in any transactions and histories.
Hiding accounts helps you stay focused on the accounts you use the most. Let's get started.
Sign on to your CIBC US Digital Banking account.
On your homepage, choose the option Customer Services.
Next, click on Account Preferences.
From your list of accounts, choose the one you wish to hide. Clicking on that account, choose hide this account.
The confirmation message that appears offers important information and some restrictions to consider. For example, you cannot hide accounts that you use for paying bills that have scheduled payments or that are active for Zelle®.
If you choose to continue this process, click on Continue.
Now your account is hidden and you'll receive a confirmation notice.
On returning to your Overview or Homepage, the hidden account will no longer be visible.
When you decide to unhide an account, just go back to Customer Services on your homepage. Choose Account Preferences and click on the account you wish to be unhidden.
Click on Show This Account and your account will once again be visible.
If you have any questions or want more information, please contact us.
