At CIBC, we’re committed to working with business owners like you to help you find success. Our Entrepreneur Loan Program was created to support startup or early-stage small businesses that have completed a CIBC-approved entrepreneur training program with important working capital.
A strong foundation
We believe the key to success for any business is a strong foundation. Owning a business takes time, patience, commitment and a solid base of business knowledge. That’s why CIBC partners with a variety of organizations in Chicago, Palm Beach, St. Louis, and Detroit to support entrepreneur training programs. Business owners who successfully complete one of these programs are eligible for a term loan or line of credit through the Entrepreneur Loan Program.
Qualification guidelines
- Successful completion of a CIBC-approved entrepreneur training program
- Two years of continuous employment or educational experience in the U.S.
- Proper business licenses in place (as appropriate)
- Personal guarantee required
- Co-signers allowed
