What does this mean for you? First, we want to reassure you that our products and services – and the people who deliver them – will not change. We are making a few updates as we unveil our new name.
Your account numbers and all related benefits with your accounts are not changing. Only your ATM or debit card number will change.
ATM and Debit Cards
During the week of September 18, 2017, we mailed your replacement ATM or debit card with the CIBC name. Your ATM or chip-enabled debit card has a new card number, expiration date, and 3-digit code (CVV) printed on the back of your card. Your PIN number remains the same. Activate your card by calling the number on the card carrier or complete a transaction using your PIN at any ATM or participating merchant location. Please note: your old card will no longer be valid starting on October 25, 2017. If you did not receive your new card, please call 877-448-6500.
New for you
Visiting Canada? You will now enjoy fee-free ATM withdrawals at CIBC ATMs in Canada.
You can continue to use checks with The PrivateBank name. When you run out, you can order new your checks which will have the CIBC name. Our bank routing number remains the same.
Replacement credits cards with the CIBC name were mailed the week of September 18, 2017. Your card number will remain the same. The 3-digit code (CVV) and expiration date will change.
Online and Mobile Banking
Online banking will now be called CIBC NetBanking and mobile banking will be CIBC US Mobile Banking. Your user name and password are not changing. We encourage you to bookmark the new online banking login page.
