Geoffrey Koss is Managing Director and Co-Head, Commercial Real Estate, U.S. Region. He manages real estate loan origination, underwriting and product cross-sales. He is a member of the U.S. Region Executive Leadership Team and CIBC’s Global Leadership Team.
Geoffrey has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. He joined CIBC in 2017 via the acquisition of The Private Bank. Prior to joining CIBC, he was a principal in a real estate private equity fund at Wrightwood Capital, and spent 14 years at LaSalle Bank in the real estate department.
Geoffrey received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN and an Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
