What you need to know to prepare for the transition
As we transition away from CIBC NetBanking and the current CIBC US Mobile Banking app to bring you an improved digital banking experience, there will be a brief period of downtime during which, access to your digital banking account will be temporarily unavailable starting Friday, October 24 at 8:00 pm CT. You won’t be able to sign on until Monday, October 27, when we launch CIBC US Digital Banking.
To ensure your scheduled money movement will go through as planned during the downtime period, you'll need to schedule all money movement before Friday October 24 at 8:00 pm CT, including real-time money transfers with Bill Pay and Zelle®.

What to expect during the upcoming transition.
The downtime period is expected to last from Friday, October 24, 2025 at 8:00 pm CT until the new CIBC US Digital Banking experience launches on Monday, October 27, 2025. An email will be sent to the designated primary email address associated with your account when the downtime period is over and the new CIBC US Digital Banking experience is available.
For assistance during the downtime period, visit a local Banking Center during regular business hours or call our Client Support Center at 877-448-6500. To further assist you during the downtime period our Client Support Center will have extended hours on Saturday, October 25 from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm CT.
CIBC US Digital Banking platforms are expected to be unavailable from Friday, October 24, 2025 at 8:00 pm CT until the new CIBC US Digital Banking experience launches on Monday, October 27, 2025.
CIBC US Digital Banking is expected to be available on October 27, 2025. An email will be sent to the designated primary email address associated with your account when the platforms become available. There will be a new link to access CIBC US Online Banking, and users will need to download the new version of the CIBC US Mobile Banking app from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
The CIBC US Mobile Banking App will support the current version as well as 3 previous versions for iOS and Android. At launch, this would mean Android 13-16 and iOS 16-19.
Yes, all scheduled transfers – Bill Pay, external, and internal transfers – will continue to function without disruption. You can schedule money movement up until the downtime period begins on October 24, 2025 at 8:00 pm CT. All transfers will process on the next business day.
No, during the downtime period real-time transfers will not be available.
No, you will not receive any real-time alerts during the downtime period.
By selecting Canada as your region, you will leave the CIBC USA Region site and enter a site of an affiliated CIBC entity. CIBC affiliates may have a different privacy policy.
