1 The Account Features listed below for each Account Level apply for each Qualification Cycle in which you meet the Qualification Requirements. A Qualification Cycle is the period from the third to last business day of the previous month to the fourth to last business day of the current month.
2 Related Accounts are new or existing checking, money market, savings, and CD accounts (excluding CIBC Palladian Savings Accounts and CDARS accounts) and Bank consumer loan accounts (excluding consumer residential mortgage loans) where the primary iCan Checking Account holder is the primary account holder or borrower.
3 The Combined Relationship Balance for Related Accounts for each Qualification Cycle is calculated based on the average balance in deposit Related Accounts (except certificates of deposit) and the balance of in certificate of deposit Related Accounts and outstanding principal balance on loan Related Accounts on the last business day of the Qualification Cycle.
4 The Primary Account Holder of the iCan Checking Account must also be the Primary Account Holder of the savings, money market, or certificate of deposit account and the account must be opened and funded on the last day of the qualification cycle. (CIBC Palladian Savings accounts and CDARS accounts are excluded.)
5 The Primary Account holder of the iCan Checking Account must be enrolled in CIBC NetBanking, the Bank’s online banking service and the iCan Checking Account must be enrolled in eStatements, the Bank’s electronic statements service, on the last day of the Qualification Cycle
6 You must be enrolled in CIBC NetBanking and have a supported Mobile Banking device to use Mobile Banking and the Mobile Banking remote deposit feature. 7 Account maintenance fee of $9.00. Fee is reduced to $6.00 if you elect to receive electronic statements through CIBC NetBanking instead of paper statements.
8 Bank foreign ATM fees and fees at non-proprietary ATMs (ATMs not owned by the Bank) charged to your account are reimbursed up to the stated limits at the end of each statement cycle. Benefit determined based on the current Qualification Cycle.
9 Qualified Debit Card Purchases are PIN or signature based point-of-sale (POS) transactions that post to your iCan Checking account during the Statement Cycle. ATM withdrawals, POS cash-back transactions, and POS cash advance transactions are not Qualified Debit Card Purchases. If any portion of a transaction is a POS cash-back or POS cash advance transaction, the entire transaction is not a Qualified Debit Card Purchase.
