Josée Wilson

Josée Wilson is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for CIBC’s U.S. Region. She is responsible for the development and implementation of the people strategy in support of the U.S. Region’s overall vision and business objectives, focusing on building comprehensive human resource programs to attract, develop, and retain top talent for sustained growth and a competitive advantage. Josée oversees a team of HR professionals across multiple geographies, serves on the U.S. Region Executive Leadership Team and is a member of CIBC’s Global Leadership Team.

Prior to joining CIBC in 2025, Josée was at Edward Jones where she served as General Partner, Head of Total Rewards. She also spent 13 years at Allstate where she held a variety of senior human resources leadership positions. While at Allstate, Josée served as HR business partner for Allstate Investments, Allstate India and Allstate Northern Ireland. She also served as Vice-President, Executive Talent Strategies leading executive succession, development, M&A due diligence and compensation. Early in her career, Josée was a consultant with Mercer for 10 years both in Canada and the U.S., supporting large companies and Boards on strategic and human resources matters.

Josée holds a bachelor of commerce degree in finance from McGill University.
