Marcus Montanye

Marcus Montanye is a Managing Director with CIBC Bank USA, where he serves as Head of the bank’s Commercial and Industrial Banking Group. He is a member of the U.S. Executive Committee and the Global Leadership Team, and Chair of the U.S. Operating Committee.

In his role, Marcus leads a relationship-focused approach to serving commercial and industrial businesses across Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Asset Based Lending, Large Corporate Banking and Leveraged Finance. Marcus has over 29 years of Commercial Banking experience where he has served in roles that include Line of Business Formation and Leadership, Business Development and Portfolio Management.

Marcus also serves on the Board of Advisors for Little City Foundation, an organization he has supported for nearly three decades, whose mission is to provide programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Marcus earned a bachelor of business administration in Finance degree from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
